The Process
At The Pressing Studio, we want you to feel connected to every step of the preservation process.
1. Flowers Arrive Once your flowers are received, we carefully take the bouquet apart, pressing all blooms while preserving their natural shape and color. For best results, flowers must be received no later than four (4) days after your event and should be kept in water and refrigerated whenever possible—the fresher they are, the better they preserve.
2. Pressing
Your flowers are placed in traditional wooden presses and dried slowly over several weeks until flattened and preserved. This stage typically takes 4-6 weeks.
3. Designing the Layout
After pressing, we thoughtfully design a new composition using your preserved blooms—one that reflects the emotion, movement, and beauty of the original arrangement.
4. Framing
The finished design is mounted using high-quality materials and placed inside the frame you selected, ensuring a timeless presentation.
5. Finished Keepsake
Your piece is cleaned, sealed, and prepared for display—ready to be enjoyed in your home for years to come.
Simple, intentional, meaningful.
*Note: Due to natural variation in flower types and condition, some blooms may not be pressable. If this happens, we will contact you before finalizing your design.
